For the 2024-25 season, the following level of disbursement will be available:
- Up to a Maximum of $1,000, even if a school has more than 1 boys team.
- $500 on or about 3/1/2025
- $500* on or about 4/15/2025 (*or even split of remaining funds)
- Funds will only be disbursed to the school or athletic booster club (NOT to individuals).
- Schools are not guaranteed Grant disbursement until their application is approved by the Boys Regional Grant Committee.
The following team composition parameters must be met for Grant disbursement:
- The High School must be in the Southern Region of USAV.
- All participants must be enrolled at the same school.
- Hybrid teams (from more than one school) are not eligible.
- All participants must be in grades 8-12.
- Both public and private schools are eligible.
- In AL & TN both new and existing programs are eligible.
- In GA New and existing programs (that are 70% or higher of free or reduced lunch)
- All coaches must be USAV certified. A coach who is a registered Southern Region member has passed the background screening process, who has also completed SafeSport, and Impact training.
The following requirements must be met for Grant disbursement:
- This complete Application must be done by the school's Principal, Athletic Director, or similar administrative agent & received no later than 2/15/2025
- A completed W9 Form for either the school or school athletic booster club must be received no later than 2/15/2025.
- A complete Participant Roster received no later than 3/1/25.
- A Match Schedule received no later than 3/1/25.
- A Team photo & Grant Impact Statement received no later than 3/01/25.
- Up-to-date Match Scores and results received no later than 5/01/25.
Failure by a team/school club to adhere to the team composition parameters and/or complete the requirements listed will preclude their school from receiving future funding from this program.
Any program that does not fulfill the March 1st and May 15th requirements will not receive the 2nd disbursement from the SRVA Boys High School grant program.
